Blazingstars Drive Mudroom / Laundry Room

By removing a small half bath and demoing all existing floor tile and cabinetry, we were able to completely transform this homeowner's mudroom and create a dedicated space for laundry, garage entry, and storage.

The new mudroom is anchored by a full wall of built-in shaker style cabinetry, complete with cubbies, coat hooks, and a solid maple butcher block bench. The washer and dryer also received the same butcher block top - a perfect workspace to fold laundry. All the details are illuminated by hidden LED lighting in the cabinets and floating shelves.

The new brick look floor tile in a herringbone pattern was installed with in-floor heat. The homeowners have come to love this feature, particularly in the winter months.

Additional design elements include gold cabinet hardware, a traditional chandelier style light fixture, new wall paint, and floral patterned wallpaper. We loved designing side by side with our clients. They were excited about the project and very involved in the process, making the end result even more rewarding.
