Walnut St Attic Remodel

A few years after purchasing their one and a half story cape cod home, our clients were ready to ditch their dark and dated loft space for an inviting new primary suite.

Working with the existing floor plan we started by removing the old wood paneling, carpet, and subfloor - then we drywalled the entire space complete with texture and new paint. We installed new base trim and window casing throughout for a clean, simple aesthetic. Next we updated the shelving in the walk-in closet and added built-in pine shelving in the bedroom to hide plumbing vents.

New electrical - including overhead puck lighting and new ceiling fans - helped to brighten up the space even further. Finally, plush new carpet completed the inviting vibe.

The homeowners are thrilled with the end result - and that "new construction" feeling.
